Games and puzzles: there’s a little something for everyone. Because games can be so highly personal, it can sometimes be difficult to categorize and organize them. I sought to update and re-think the information architecture for Eureka’s products.
In the case of Eureka, an outdated UI paired with a too-narrow method of product characterization created a less-than-spectacular experience.
Furthermore, the new Eureka! site should also serve the needs of the business itself, with more space allocated to not just showing off product, but marketing the products towards the right audience.
I chose to re-design the Eureka! Puzzles & Games web experience to create a place for board game enthusiasts and newbies alike to find that perfect game -- easily.
